TECHNOLOGIES

The Internet of Things (IoT)
Refers to the vast network of physical devices embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet or other communication networks.
Machine Learning
A subset of AI that focuses on algorithms that can learn from data without explicit programming. Machine learning models are trained on large datasets to identify patterns and make predictions. Examples include image recognition, spam filtering, and recommendation systems.
Artificial Intelligence
A broad field encompassing the development of intelligent machines that can simulate human cognitive abilities like learning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Computing
The field of studying and designing computer systems and software. It encompasses various aspects like hardware (processors, memory), software (operating systems, applications), and algorithms.
Mesh Networks
A type of network where devices connect directly to each other, creating a distributed network rather than relying on a central hub. Mesh networks are often used in smart homes, industrial settings, and disaster response scenarios due to their resilience and scalability.
Sensors
Are devices that detect and measure physical or environmental conditions like temperature, pressure, light, or motion. Sensors are crucial for collecting data in various applications, including IoT devices, smart cities, and wearables.
Blockchain
A distributed ledger technology that securely records transactions across a network of computers. Blockchain is known for its transparency, immutability, and security, making it valuable for applications like digital currencies, supply chain management, and secure data sharing.
